 Do you know a new english word is created every 98 minutes. That's right! which means almost 14 to 15 new words are created per day.


Fact No. 2

 there are some words in english that does not rhyme with any other word. for example- The words orange,month,silver,purple do not rhyme with any other word.

Have  you ever wondered that the dot on the letters i and j has a name?
 Yes, and that dot is called superscript dot or tittle.

 William Shakespeare has added over thousand words in english language. It's true!! the famous writer loved making up new words and he has invented over 1700 english words. some of these words are gloomy,fashionable,lonely,bubble,champion.

 Fact No. 5 

The word startling is the only nine letter word in english in which if you remove every letter one by one, you can create another word. for example if you remove letter L form the word STARTLING ,it will become starting. and if you remove T from STARTING, it will become staring, and so on....

The longest word in english is pneumonoultramicroscopicsilic-
-ovolcanoconiosis.
 Try to say it in one go!!! 
This word is used to refer a lung disease that is caused by inhaling coal ash and dust.

 do you know how many alphabets are there in english???
Many of you will say 26 but
The correct answer is 1.
A to z ,these  all are 26 letters
And these 26 letters collectively form one alphabet.
